| Has anyone ever seen or heard of putting a full windshield on a Reanger 681 or 690? They\'re ideal boats, but I\'d really prefer a full windshield. I\'ve seen a 681 with a dual console modification, so I figure a full windsheild could be done...
Anyone?

Location: Stevens Point, WI | No, I do not believe Ranger ever made a full windshield in either of those two models. You would have to step up to a 1860 Angler to get in a Ranger with a full windshield. But Tuffy makes a 1760 with a full windshield, mine will be for sale this fall if you would be at all interested. |

| This would be a custom modification, unless Ranger could put a console/windshield kit from a 692 into a 690? I\'m be surprised if that worked.
I\'ve been in Tuffy\'s 1760 hull a few times and I\'m really not a fan, but thanks anyway.
Has anyone seen or done a custom windshield job on any boat? I don\'t think it would be cheap, but a good custom job could be well worth it.
Ultimate boat would be Ranger\'s 618 T hull with a console (150+ rating) and a full windshield with the standard 600vs series layout and a rear casting deck insert. I drool just thinking about it.

| Would a full windshield do any good if you are sitting back at the tiller? |

| 681 and 690 are both available in console versions. I'm sure that's what he's referring to.
Also, I agree that the 618T hull would be awesome with a console! |
