We just returned from a good trip to LOTW. Fishing around the Kenora area and south. Put 16 fish in the boat 49" was the largest. Just two of us for one week. Most fish came on top water prop style baits and Double Cowgirls. Fish were locating to ROCKS. Mostly submerged reefs, if you could see the island they were not eating you had to find the submerged islands or reefs and these fish were active.

Sounds like a good trip consitering the hot weather we've been having...we were out yesterday and only saw 3 fish and I missed the same dinker 3 times, all on wind blown rock or wind swept neck downs... couldn't fish the night though...blah. Did most of your fish come on the couple days it cooled down in the middle of the week, at night, or in the blazing heat of the day? Any trolling? Any in the slop at all?

Sorry if I'm digging too deep...
Thanks for any info.
