I have a Weagle. Actually I have a pile of 'em. One in particular, that I like the best because of my ability to do what I want it to (NOT SINK) is that Chart-Dot pattern -- chartreuse on the back, white belly, black dots...

I want a temporary solution to this color. Sharpie? Krylon?

I need it to be black (the belly and sides at least) for my trip up to Eagle, but I don't necessarily want it to be black forever.

Any ideas?

(told 'ya it was a weird question!)

Could try getting some black stickers....similar to like a glow in the dark type tape that could be removed at the end of the trip.

Grab a can of Krylon and spray paint it black. When you want it back to "normal" you can just grab some paint thinner/mineral spirits/etc and remove the black. There may be some black left, but you should be able to get it close to the original color.

If it works properly (or should I say worked properly?), it doesn't matter what color it is. Those big girls on Eagle will eat it up!

If you still want it black, use electrical tape.

If it still has a good water seal, go at it with a Sharpie. That ink is very easily removed with denatured alcohol.
