howdy,

looking for comments on the device mentioned in musky hunter magazine last dec/jan issue.

is it helpful?

is it easy to use?

is it durable? do batteries last at least a month?

any glitches?

would you recommend it?

there are pro's and cons to the device.. it does give you moon rise moon set and sunrise and sunset it calcs the moon phase to barometric pressure and then presents a scale on top of a fish icon.
the thing that really gets my goat is that no matter where you go you need to know exact elevation of the lake your gonna fish, and the present barometric pressure. it also tells you if a storm is coming from rapid declining barometric pressure...
with that said, if you aint on the lake of even needing the thing turn the ALARM OFF!!! the beeping drives me nuts...
i for got to change the pressure and elevation on the boat with my buddy and i told him it was my bulldog about to self destruct.
otherwise its something every angler should have as far as a barometer.
light dont stay on for long.
the buttons dont illuminate.
But it does look kool when another guy looks at your rig and is wondering what that thing is hangin off your console
I give it 2.5 out of 5 stars
