the other day i was working a suick along after i just got it had to clean out the eye hole to use it so i used a hook. i was fishing away in the river and as i was working it all of a sudden there was no weight at all so i didnt know if a fish hit it a came forward or what was going on.so i try a few pulls and nothing all of a sudden i look and my lure comes floating to the top and is just sitting in the middle of the river floating down stream. i wasnt very happy at this point because i am fishing from shore. so i threw on a different lure and ended up being able to get before its long gone. My ???? is that has anyone ever bought a suick that was brand new with a open screw eye instead of a closed one. well that is what the suick company told me when i called is that there must of been one that got out with and open eye in it. they just told me to bend it together or send it in and they will replace it if i wanted replaced.

I bet if that is what Mr. Suick told you, that probably is exactly what happened. Bend it closed and fish the lure. Or send it to me and I will fish the lure and send you a new one.
