I heard that they make some type of girdle to protect the bottom of your boat
from rock chips. I have a Ranger boat and am traveling to Canada on a very
rocky road. Anybody heard of such a product or know where to find one?

It's called a boat bra, I think. Seeing more of them on the walleye touring rigs.

just my opinion....but have you thought of a set of rock tamers from Cabelas??? i bought a set for my new boat that isnt done yet,but i would think it would also protect the trailer as well. they are built well, easy to install and take off,and adjustable for all tow vehicles. they are priced at 199.99 and i think if they can keep "most" of the rock chips off the boat and trailer, its worth the money?????
