Going up to Cass lake in a week, wondering if anyone could recommend a guide that can put us on the bite!
Heard its a pretty dynamic lake with lots of structure choices.

Any help would be great!

Thanks

I would recommend Brian Jones from First Choice Guide Service. He is a great guide and is very reasonably priced. Here is his website: http://www.fishingcasslake.com/index.shtml#top

Another vote for Brian Jones.

I've also heard this guy is very good:

Brian Jones is defintly a great guide, and is great on the price.
It looks like $200 for 1 person or $240 for 2 person day trip

Brian Jones is hand's down the very best value for the dollar spent! Not only on Cass Lake, but anywhere! I wanna say his 8 hour rate is $240.00? I'm not positve though! Brian is a young guy who extremely passionate about muskies! Brian is a friend of mine, and I use him.
Ted Roos is a top notch muskie guy! He know's Cass better than anyone! I'm not sure about his rate. Ted literally lives on Cass! Either of these two will hook you up!

Brian strictly fishes the Cass Chain of lakes rather than the "Cass area". So if I'm looking for a Cass Lake guide specifically, I'd look no further. He's as dialed in as anyone else on that water. Brian is a multi-species fisherman. But after sharing the boat with him a few times it's very clear that his passion is muskies.

I've fished with Ted Roos several times. He lives on Cass, and his knowledge of the lake is impressive. He always put me on fish (which I was not always able to land), including big fish.

Hey guys,

Thanks to all my clients and friends for the recommendations. With the price of gas this year I know myself and many other guides need the trips that come with solid word of mouth.

Wish I could make it on Musky alone up here at Cass like many have said but baitfish do help the income at times...

Take care all and hope to see you on the water.

Fish have been going good on top and bucktails. Cabbage or rocks are good but I would lean a little more on the cabbage side for tough conditions.
