give HUGE congrats to the lucky anglers, might even kick up a few memories ourselves...

I will proudly start, last Saturday evening I took my 15 year old nephew out musky fishing.Mark has been out several times, even with guides but had never had one on the line, till 8:10 pm that is...I have been on fish this year,9 at the time and have had action every time I went out...We were working my favorite weed bed, submerged and emergent weeds, deep water very close by,I was using a globe,Mark was tossing a creeper. He cast between 2 emergent clumps and brought the lure through the opening,Next thing I know,FISH ON!!! He set the hook and all I had to tell him was keep the rod tip up and take your time. The fish stayed down, shaking it's head.I had the net ready and the first time past the boat it was netted! A fat 37 incher!!!I was more happy than Mark!!! The fish thrashed hard in the net, unhooking itself...After some long overdo congrats and hand shakes we took a few pics before the release. She swam off very strong after a few seconds in the water.
I will try and put a pic...NO luck,too big,will try again...Paul

That is awesome! I am grateful to you for exposing children to the outdoors, specifically musky fishing. With all of the time we spend on the water and all that we are blessed to experience, it is multiplied when a kid is along. All we have to do is expose them to it. They'll take care of the rest.
