I like to use one on my Maraboo bucktails, there's just something they add to the maraboo. Ussually though I do not use a grub, instead I use the back end of a Berkley Saber Tail Grub. This is a twin tail but instead of the normal grub tail that looks like it spins it has two "legs" that look like a persons legs kicking while they swim.

I find the maribou sticks to the plastic tail and gets all tangled up, but I use them on hair and rubber bucktails. m
