| OK, here is the event as I see it.
MI and Slamr challenge each other to a fish-off, on different water, in different boats. There is no mention of the boat partner, or net man, or anything else, that I have seen.
The testerone flowed to the point of near explosive content.
This was not, and WILL NOT BE, a MuskieFIRST sponsored event, so any disagreements over the function/structure needs to be decided by the others on the board, a totally impartial and unattached judging group, not the Moderators!!
Appoint 6 of the baord regulars to decide the disagreement, and their decision should be final. No stacking the 6 to Slamr or MI's 'side.
If you two will accept, I will act as the committee chair, and appoint the rest of the board. I will not have a vote, but will be careful to choose judjes that are not in any way associated with either of the contestants!!

| Seems as though the contest is no longer to be discussed on this board, it was getting a lot out of hand, I truly agree. So....here is the proof that I did win this round. But, being a thinking man...I will allow this round to go w/o recieving my just reward, there will be more to come, we'll figure out a better day to go for ROUND #2. Make it the same playing field, same day. You can keep the HR this time...but this is not over!!!

Hey, the man knew the rules coming into the contest, and didn't waver till after he lost...BUT, being the bigger man, I am more than willing to waive Round #1. | I wasn’t around for the challenge, but I do recall something of a handicap being mentioned. If so, MI would have won. Catching a 41.5 on lake W…x, y, or whatever is less of an accomplishment than even getting a follow on the chain. Also, knowing slamr from his on line personality, I’m pretty sure he didn’t pay for the guide (possible barter though). So he shouldn’t be deducted for that.
I’d say it’s a “do-over”.
Perhaps you boys should join us MEN and have the rematch during the “challunge on the chain”

| Let me clear the air a bit....first of all, I fished WITH a guide, but it was a matter of fishing with someone, not getting GUIDED. I did learn from from him, lots of good info actually, but the majority of what we did is what I do out there on a regular basis. I fished out of the back, with my own baits, and I brought LUNCH!!! So how is that a guided trip? Musky Illini knew who I was fishing with before the bet was set. AND, I have already allowed for this bet to roll over for the future....I am TRYING to let this issue DIE, but no, guys like the ANONYMOUS (sp?) have to keep ripping....who are you anyways?

| Guide or no guide you still have to perform for yourself. I say from now on no guides just to make it fair and then we'll see who the real guru is. Slamr and MI what you think? I'm not saying slamr is cheating cause he didn't but just to see who can perform the best. It will be far more accurate if no guides are allowed. |
