Location: Belleville, WI | I fished Saturday with guide Joel Michel (tuffy1) and my friend Trevor on Lake Okauchee, as part of the Luke Breyer (Baldy) auction. Trevor landed a nice thick 46"er. Fairly slow day action-wise, but Joel kept us positive the whole day, convinced each cast could be "the one". I can't say enough good things about fishing with Joel - super guy, very knowledgeable, and somehow kept us excited to be fishing on a crowded urban lake under a hot sun. Great day, highly recommended.

Location: The Yahara Chain | The Yahara Chain was kind to me as I got a nice 44"er on Friday evening after work. It was caught on one of my Gerber tails on a figure eight. Great fighter.
Sunday AM I got out for a few hours before the boat traffic drove me insane and I got a chunky 37"er on a B.S. Willy creeper. The fish waked up on it four different timed before it ate it, fun fish.

Location: minocqua, wi. | only got out friday night and explored a new lake with andy ... got a shot at sunset with a fish coming full-body out of the water on a pacemaker, but it unfortunately missed ... it blew up right when the sun hit the horizon which continues to reinforce the thought of major changes in my mind ... later that night i caught a nice big walleye on a depth raider ... it was heavy enough and ate deep ... just no headshake and the wrong species but a nice big walleye ...
the rest of the weekend was spent on the golf course ... and a little pleasure cruising on the chain ... i'm sensing the broadening of interests and spend less time on the water ... but it's all good! chose work last night over night fishing ... what's wrong with me?

| Went bass fishing with my pops this weekend, he doesn't musky fish so I gave in and went bass fishing. We caught several the two bigges being 22 and 20 inches. It was a pretty good time... even if it was bass fishing.

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Fished with MuskyBoy on Sunday for the Luke Breyer (Baldy) auction. Due to both of us getting to bed late the night before we decided to start around 10am(his idea). Tough day on the water with all the boat traffic, sail boat races, jet ski's, wave runners and fishermen. We managed to score 3 sub legal muskies before going to the watering hole for pizza and some beverages. Back out by 3:30pm and back at it. Steve had the first two hooked but they never made it to the boat. Jumps and runs gave them the win on us. Steve did get a three footer at dark to close out his 4 fish auction outing. Should have been a six pack. Fun guy to fish with for a good cause.

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | 0 for a whopping two on the big lake, should have had the second in the boat but for the #*^@ muskie rod i was using. Esoxaddict was sick the whole morning on Saturday, zero help, but did tough it out for 5 hours in 4fters.
Sunday was better, sort of. Nailed 12 after a slow start.
Saturday: salmon
Sunday: bluegills and bullheads. |

Location: north central wisconsin | Good weekend, but not till Sunday when the heat kicked in. Tough this week though, with one shot at a hookup per day being the norm for us after the cool snap. Shortest windows I've ever seen, happening this year. Wish I didn't have to fish all day, three to four days to figure out when they were going to happen....hehehe. |

Location: WI | I pulled a Suick trailing weeds out of the water and then had one come cruising in. Doh! Later I had one t-bone the same lure at boatside but when I set it pulled right out of its mouth. |
