Location: Tinley Park. Fish Cen IL. Bass & Vilas Cty.Muskie | I used my New baby Duck topraider this past week after sitting in my garage for a few years. The back prop is pretty straight. The problem or no problem is > the head keeps rotating when I pull the bait. I think the idea retrieve would be the head stays straight and the tail plops. Should I try and adjust the back prop(cup) ? Should I use a pliers and start from bottom or top ? What kind of cup should I put on prop ? Is it good for the head to rotate ? I loved using it with my quack quack quack sounds to get the muskie interested- hehe. Thanks for any help. |

| The head should not rotate. Is the head spinning at the same rate as the tail??
Either your weight is loose, or you may have some binding in the wire in the tail section.

| Do a search in the archives. There is a description w/photos of how to fix that. Likely the weights have loosened inside. "course, if it's new you should just return it for a new one. |

Location: Brookfield | Buy a pacemaker. Problem solved, well not really my pacemaker has a head that spins to but the fish dont seem to mind. Get a pacemaker anyway.

I like the way the extra weight has effected the action/sound. Since I've fixed it that particular bait has been my most productive topwater in my box! |
