Subject: Warroad or Baudette Motel ???

Hey Guys:

I decided to drive to NW Angle on Friday night versus Saturday and am looking to crash for the night before crossing the border.

Any recommendations on cheap/decent motels in either Baudette or Warroad is greatly appreciated.

Thanks - Midge

spent many a night in warroad on ice fishing trips.

CAN-AM is nice has a hottub and a steamroom and good price

'Patch' motel is very reasonable too,,
both are across from each other, If you wake up early go have the "fishermans special" breakfast at the patch restraunt,,can be busy with all the Marvin windows employees

I just stayed in Baudette last weekend on my way to LOTW. Stayed at the Super Eight. Very reasonable price. I think it was 68.99. Very nice rooms also.

I think the Can-am also has a $20 coupon for the casino, just take a minute to cash it in at the casino and it's like $20 off the room, as long as you get out before gambling it away.

I would agree with Brad and stay where you get a coupon. I had stayed at the Super 8 for 3 nights during the week and asked if I could get a discount for multiple nights. They gave me a room for $35/night and with the $20 coupon it ended up being $15/night!! Nice place and you are 5.5 miles from the border from there.

This is just me, but I would sleep in my truck, doesn't get much cheaper... I would pull offat a boat access and crash for 5 hours and start heading north...
