I have quite a few wood WTD surface baits that I have accumulated from swapmeets, prizes, purchasing etc,,,Not all glide, pivot or shoot 90 degrees,,but instead just slightly off center weave back and forth,,

Im wondering if theres tuning tips to get more glide???
I realize that you get more misses with the 90 degrees but Ive found some times you provoke more strikes.
I also realize you can get more swing with technique when you add more slack in the tap, pull jerk.

however some just dont glide has well even being made in the same model.

Ive found you can get more swing by moving the front hook eye forward and remounting it,,,any other tricks??

weighting,,heavy/lighter hooks, other????
