I've been having problems with my Lowrance X96 finder as it just started acting up the last few days. The finder is hooked up to the same batteries as my 55 lb motorguide trolling motor, which seems to be fine while the trolling motor is running, but last night at various time the finder would simply turn off while nothing else was running. It looked like I may have had some moisture on the inside of the finder, and maybe that was part of the problem. I don't know. I'm looking for any suggestions as to what the problem may be.
Any help is appreciated. Thank You.

Might be running out of battery power just enough to turn off the sonar.

I haven't talked to Lowrance yet since the last time I talked with them I was on hold for 45 minutes to an hour before I actually talked to someone. I thought I would ask for advice from all you guys. I suppose it is possible that the battery isn't getting enough juice to the finder. The batteries are starting to not hold a charge that well. I will be getting new batteries sometime in July, so maybe that will solve the problem. We'll see. Any insight is invited. Thanks.
