Thanks for all the great advice. After approximately 2 weeks of discussion and 3 days of decision making we decided to stay where we are. Hopefully the opportunity will come up again in a couple years but I can't hold my breath for that. Sale of the house was probably the biggest deciding factor. Other than that we would have been gone. Even had the wife voting to move until the realtor came out and couldn't/wouldn't give an estimate on turnaround time. There have been a few "For Sale By Owners" on the market for a long time in town.

| I should have bought your house dude to vacation at! I want to move also but don''t know how the post offices are up there.... let me know! The wife would move I think but Mom/Dad are getting up there + though they are doing Ok they''d kill me if they couldn''t see little Sponge! The family future lies w/ him + they don''t want him to follow my path!LOL... They took all of us out last night for a seafood slam + discussed stocks so.....! Maybe when I retire or sooner if tomyv invests the dollar I send him + hit the big time. I''m happy now being cash poor/credit rich + if I ever move I selling everything pretty much + starting over! BUT..... I could have a contest, give everything away + when it''s gone THEN move! One good thing is nobody can build around us + if one comes up for sale nearby it will be bought w/in a month or less. Glad you got the major prize winnings + hopefully this fall NWR + I will produce a contest that will flatten Sherwood Forest![:sun:] | |
