The oil light just started blinking one day. Does that mean time for a oil change? Or low oil pressure?

I don't have my manual with me as I'm at work but I believe that the blinking light is the "oil change reminder" that comes on after 100 hours until you reset it & then 100 hours after reset.

If the oil light is blinking AND it starts beeping then you have a problem.

That is how it works on my motor - 2002 Suzuki 115 4-stroke

There are actually a number of things that it can mean. Call Suzuki, they are very helpful via phone.

If it is a flashing light it is telling you that you have enough hours for an oil change. Simple to make it stop blinking.

1) Turn motor off.
2) Pull your kill switch cord off of the red knob.
3) Turn key to turn power on, but not turn motor over.
4) Pull the red kill switch button 3 times.
5) I believe it will beep and the light will stop flashing.
6) Remember to replace your kill switch cord.
7) Start motor and go fish.

If the light stays on and does not flash, take it in for service work.
