| Prefishing for a walleye tourney on Friday, I was pitching light jigs with a bit of crawler to the edge of the cane. Out from the cane, I saw a big fish swirl, and picked up a heavier jig, and put a full fat crawler on it. Casted out in front of the fish, and it rocketed to the offering, and ate! I set the hook, and nearly 15 minutes later I water released a nice 42" Pogan Muskie! My first jig Muskie!
No pics, but I did call JoMusky. He told me to ....well, you know! I forgot it was only Friday, and he was working. hehehe | |

| Hey, this fish counts! This was no accidental fish. I TRIED to catch it. And I did. Don't matter that it came on a 1/4 oz jig, and a big ole juicy crawler. Besides, anytime one can catch a Muskie, while JoMusky is working, well that just adds to the thrill! hehehe
Mikie, 2 grand. That's all? hehehe
Steve, I think you should get over here before the MWC for some GB eyes. We can also go Columbusing for some Bay Muskies.
