IMO - lesson learned and other people talking - burn small bucktails / or whatever - just pull 'em.

crappie pattern phantoms and vipers always move fish opening day, and today ws no exception. I also decided to get rwal agressive and thrown in a Cowgirl just to give'em something they usually don't see early in the year.

I didn't fish today, or even hear any reports yet, but in years past, the usual stuff has worked on opening day. I remember an opening day get together a few years ago when members of my MI Chapter boated fish with a lot of different baits. A guy caught one trolling a Believer, another fish was caught on a Jig, and as I recall, I caught a 40 inch Muskie casting a Topwalker in 21 feet of water. There were fish caught at all depths, and using about every presentation. As long as you've got a lure in the water, you've got a chance.
