Since it is the day before opener in Minnesota and I want to try fluorcarbon leaders I think a trip to Thorne Bros. is in order after work today. Thorne Bros. on Musky-eve from now on. Unfortunatly I will not be able to walk out of the store with just the leaders.

Anyone other Minnesotans have a Musky-eve ritual?

I see our neighbors to the east have had some great get togethers.

Yeah, my new tradition is coaxing the little lady to let me go out for another weekend. Since Walleye opener, been gone every weekend on the "traditional" fishing trips, one being 20 years in the making.

Now that we are living together, my new tradition for the Ski opener will be mowing the lawn, trimming, grilling steaks and some matress mumba all while charging the boat up and getting the gear ready.

Good luck this weekend all. Finally its MN's turn for some fish pics.

Serp,
Don't fall into the trap!! If that new Ranger of yours is gonna sit in the garage, you can store it at my place for the summer! Your gal doesn't mow the lawn for you? I bought the old lady a new John Deere and she won't let me touch it!!! Good luck this weekend, I will be prowling the Longville area

Komer, I bought her a self propelled, but she won't touch it. Oh, and the boat thing, "Hun, I bought it for both of us to enjoy"....ha..ha.

I'll be hopping around west metro lakes, either Eagle or Indy. Good luck my man.

Hooker, how many times have you seen that #*^@ movie?
lots of luck

Never heard of it, so I had to Google it, that looks like a very obscure movie. Quite the story line.

I think I may watch some Badfish Outdoors, Musky Madness II.

I'll be on LB in Longville as well. My son and I will be in the Blue Lund Pro Sport. First year of Musky fishing for him. He is pumped. Two weeks ago he said, just 15 more days. I said until you are done with school, he said no, until musky opener...Good Boy!!

Good Luck.
