Our chapter has sponsored an organization Fishing for Life and we're looking for people that can donate some on the water time to take kids and Vets out this summer. Kids can also participate by doing a Fish-a-thon where they get pledges for how many fish they can catch with all the money going to inner city youth ministries.

Next Friday there's going to be an event on Lake Calhoun and we need more boats! If you're interested in doing this one or something else down the line check out our link and it gives more dates and times:

If you have kids and want to find more check out:

Treats, please excuse me for adding to this:

If you are in the Eastern Ohio, Western Pa / W.Va. area, Chapter 9 of Muskies Inc. is assisting Wayne National Forest personnel in a Kids Fishing and Fun day at Leith Run campground, just north of Marietta Ohio. Our chapter volunteers each year to help the kids and their parents enjoy a morning of fishing and fun, with prizes and awards. From my observations, it is well-attended. This year the event is June 9 - next Saturday.

Please see: http://www.fs.fed.us/r9/wayne/events/fishing_derbies/marietta_leith...

for details, and come out with your kids, grandkids, or the neighbor's kids to enjoy the day! m

Cool guys, our chapter got something from Anglers Legacy about donating time to take kids fishing, its slow getting off the ground for us so far but we'll keep at it. I'll have to check out the site for things to help with in the future.
