Has anyone fished this body of water? It's located near Suring, Wisconsin. Supposed to have a natural reproducing population of musky. Girlfriends parents have a cottage on the lake. We are headed up there this weekend. Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks,

I have a cottage on the lake and I wouldn't waste your time to be honest with ya. There's very very few in there! I got two small ones in ten years. I'd go to Roberts or Archibald.

Thanks for the info craig... kind of what I thought. Fished it twice last year and never saw a fish. A couple pike was all I had to show for my efforts. Her brother in law just bought a boat and is just getting into musky fishing and is lookin for an action lake in the area. Archibald was on my list as well. what about Boot Lake right by Archibald? Where on the lake are you located? Will you be there this weekend or next?

Very shallow landing there, if I remember right. I hooked a nice fish on the deep weedline in front of the cottages/homes that are along 32 on the East side of the lake last year. Lost him at boatside.
You are not too far from Caldron and High Falls flowages, either.
