Do you have musky buddies who despite being seasoned veterans still get tons of backlashes each day...even in no wind, casting into the wind, with the wind, doesn't matter....I can't figure out how or why some get so many!
So this year I thought I should implement a new rule on the Ranger with gas at $3+ and me never asking or wanting to get money from my buds...
A backlash jar....should you get a backlash so bad you have to stop and pick it out..it's a buck in the jar! If I get one, I'll take a buck off your tab!!
So far my regular fishing buddy who I won't name is in the lead...by far....

all in good fun of course..I actually haven't made anyone pay up...yet!

anyone else have any boat bets/rules etc...?

Mohawk on every 50" fish caught. So far only one has followed through, however working with the guy at Gander the next morning was a riot! Especially with the heart I shaved in the back of his head.... I wish I had a camera to take some pictures of the customers faces when they went to buy a gun and got helped by a guy with half a mohawk and a heart shaved into his hair!!!

The easy answer is everyone is not as good as Brad Nelson.

Speaking of mohawks....I'll pay the jar when you pay the barber!

I get one ocaisionally, but my friend is awful. I would think that he has his reel set incorrectly, andI would be able to cast it with no problem. He is just a litlle more distracted than others, but I would never make him pay for his A.D.D..
