| Can anyone tell me how to adjust this so the boat rides higher on the trailer? I am getting a wheel rub on the largest highway bumps and it sends a burst of smoke off on contact. Not good. It's a 2003 single axle trailer with a 618VS on it. Thanks | |

| I think the only way would be to rotate the axle assy, perhaps with wedges. Perhaps take it to a frame and axle shop. To my knowledge, there aren't any adjustments on torsion axles. | |

| John,
See my reply on MH board, just went through this with my 618 this year.

Location: Athens, Ohio | Yeah, it sounds like the problem is in the axle, not the spring. You can get the springs re-arched or another leaf added, possibly with the same result. I'd contact Ranger before I did anything. Don't want to void a possible warranty fix by taking it to the local axle & spring shop without checking with the mfg. first. m
