Location: Michigan | I am running a Yamaha F15C on a Ranger 620, and I am trying to figure out what the best prop would be that will allow me to run in my max RPM range (5-6K) and also maximize speed. The motor came with an 11 pitch, which I don't think is allowing me to get to full RPMs. I do not have a tach on the kicker.
Is anyone running a 15 for a kicker on a similar size boat? What prop are you running and what speed can you get out of it?
I had a T8 Yami, but could only get 4.2 MPH out of it. I am sure with the F15 I can get more speed, but I need the right prop.
