Location: Iowa | So Dad's 620 showed up yesterday and when he went to put it in the garage it fit with just the boat motor and trailer, only problem was the Terrova on the front on the boat sticks out 4 inches further than the edge of the swing tongue not allowing the garage door to go down...so it is sitting sideways in our 2 stall garage...my question is can a quick release bracket still be mounted, even though the trolling motor has already been mounted, to allow for the trolling motor to be removed and if so is the MKA-32 the best option...

Location: Park Ridge, Illinois | Sure you can still mount a quick release. You will probably have to drill additional holes, but that should not cause problems. The MKA-32 should be fine.
Another thing that I've seen done is to make a cove for your main motor in the back of your garage e.g. cut a hole in the back wall of your garage big enough for the motor, then add a "motor addition" to the back of you garage. Sounds dumb but it would work, and will probably take about as much effort as remounting the trolling motor.

Location: Iowa | Will the MKA-16-02 Mount work for an 80 lb Terrova?...cabelas website lists it as being able to but the Minn-Kota website does not...

| Mk 16 will not work without some shimming between the motor and the mount. |

| I used that bracket on my Terrova and no problems mounting it...
I know Matt had a different story though...

| The MKA-21 will work on the Terrova, and is easily removed to tuck the boat in at night. |
