Location: St. Louis, MO., Marco Is., FL, Nestor Falls, ON | Carlo emailed me this morning with pictures of his second 50+ lb. pike this season. This one is slightly smaller at 48"x29.5" and weighed 53 lbs. He caught it on Lake Maggiore, Italy on a small Ernie trolled at about 48 feet. This guy is on fire!

| Unreal man, wish Canadian pike got as big as those European ones. Oh-well. Hey isn't the world record (recognized by the freshwater fishing hall of fame) like 49 lbs or something. How come non of these huge fish caught overseas are getting recognized? |

Location: London, England | The IFGA rules are based on having tackle that will definitely break at a certain point. Most pike anglers, like musky anglers want tackle that definitely won't break at any point, so the IFGA is a bit of an anathema to most modern catch and release anglers! |
