Subject: Throttle button on Quicksilver/mercury engine


The "button" you push to give the motor gas while out of gear is not pressing in and won't allow me to give the motor gas to rev up/start ...any clue what that means?
Seems every dealer in madison is jammed til next tuesday...

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin		Try putting the boat in forward, then reverse, then neutral, all of course with the motor off. Then try the button.
