Location: Corning, Iowa | Just got a new HP computer. It doesn't have Java, and we can't seem to down load it. Any other options? We were told Java was out at the end of the year. Truth, or good salesman? Thanks Doug | |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Here's what you do:
Go to www.mozilla.com
Download the Firefox Browser (you will like it)
Set Firefox as your default browser
Later, we'll go through some cool extensions and themes, but for now, when you have the Firefox browser installed and open, go to Muskiefirst, open this thread, and click on this link:
http://www.java.com/en/download/
Click on the Java download link. It will save to a downloaded items folder displayed in the upper left, when the download is complete click 'open', and install the program. There will be Firefox instructions at the download button, too.
Get that done, and we'll talk Littlefox, Weather, Fire FTP, clean and easy tabbed browsing, and alot more.

There are tons of little tweaks you can do with firefox. Check out the link below and see if any of the add-ons fit your needs. Just click and they will install themself.
