went out this afternoon, hoping to get my roomate his first. instead, i got this nice 33"-ish tiger.

lost an even bigger one that ripped the skirt off my j-mac right at boatside.

and i have never seen so many fish follow! it's insane. they swim nose on the bait and no matter what - new lures, changing speed, etc. can you get them to eat.

Hey Butterwheels, how far are you guys from Denver? Ill be moving out there in a few weeks and I am looking for as many lakes as I can find. There are a few in the Denver and surrounding areas but if you guys aren't too far from me I would probably try to make the trip to UT when I can get a weekend away.

i'm about 5 hours from denver, plan for 6 just to be safe, roads can be iffy. add another 30 min to the lake. the big lake out by sorno is another 3 hours from me.

will, that's cottonwood reservoir.

Thanks for the info. Ill definitely try to get out that way at some point of the summer. I can't wait to explore some new water and hopefully tie into some of the beautiful tigers that Ive been seeing pictures of for a few years.

The release pic reminds me of the vivid colorations of Marlin or Mahi-Mahi before being taken out of the water. Outstanding, I am still waiting for my first tiger. I hope I don't have to wait much longer, at this point I don't care how big it is!
