Location: Tomahawk, Wisconsin | We had our first meeting last nite and there are some changes for the upcoming year. Highlights or lowlights include........ lakes to be fished: BOOM(TWICE), MOENS CHAIN(TWICE), CRESCENT& HANCOCK&ONEIDA&MANSON(TWICE), LAKE TOMAHAWK(TWICE), PELICAN&ENTERPRISE(ONCE), MUSKELLUNGE&TWO SISTERS&GILMORE&MILDRED(ONCE), SUGAR CAMP CHAIN(ONCE), JULIA&GEORGE&THOMPSON(ONCE). These are the lakes that we will be fishing for our 12 week season. One major rule change is that all boats should hang out at the landing or landings until 5pm. Sponsor fee has risen to $100.00. Plaques will be given out to the top 3 teams for their sponsors. Next meeting will be at FRENZ MAY 22 AT 7PM schedules will be handed out and everyone should try to have their fees paid!! Also elections will be held for treasurer/secretary and I think for the presidents job too, hope to see you all there!!! Dave Jonesi |

Location: Rhinelander, WI | Thanks Dave sorry I couldn't make the meeting. I like the official start time from the landing, should eliminate the confusion that happened last year with guys watches not be synchronized, and the first cast fish problems.
Hopefully I'll see you at the next meeting. One thing that needs to be mentioned at the meeting is that I see Enterprise has been added with Pelican. Enterprise has confirmed Millfoil and anybody fishing it needs to ensure they take the proper precautions after leaving the lake especially if they are going to hop lakes in the same day specifically to Pelican which surprisingly, even with all the pressure it receives, is still Millfoil free.
Thanks
Mike

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Ditto on what Mike said about Enterprise. I haven't fished the lake since they found the milfoil, its just not worth it to me to spread it around.

Location: Tomahawk, Wisconsin | Hey everyone, thanks for the kudos! I did make very clear mention of the milfoil that is in Enterprise lake as well as Manson. A woman from the DNR is going to come to our next meeting and give us some more info on invasive species. Hope to see you all on the 22nd at 7pm at Frenz. Dave |

Location: Rhinelander, WI | Thanks Dave, after I started thinking about the Milfoil thing I went to the WDNR web site and the following is a list of lakes that we fish during league where they have found millfoil. It's probably a good thing the Weed Lady will be at the meeting.
Hancock Lake
Manson Lake
Oneida Lake
Sugar Camp Creek
Tomahawk Lake
Wisconsin River (Below Rainbow Dam)
For the complete list the following is a list by County for the entire state.

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Wow, I had no idea it was in Tom.
That's a great example of why you make sure there is nothing hanging on your boat or trailer after being on any body of water!
BTW, Mike, you now officially have the coolest signature line on M1st!!!!
