Location: Kentucky | My buddy Glenn and I fished all day in heavy wind Sunday and saw nothing until dark when this 48" ate an Ugly Girl right beside the boat. Sweet

Location: Kentucky | Thanks, guys. I admit I yelled like a skeert-T when she grabbed it at my feet.
Jerome: an Ugly Girl is my homemade knock-off of a Super Girl (she ate the one top row, 2nd from the right). Thanks for the Big V offer, we'll have to do that

Mikie,
Your comment stuck in my head today... well, besides the reference to a great song.
I guess we all know how tempting it is to call it a day when it's been tough out there and no action. Both Glenn and I almost cashed it in at different points, so a big "thanks buddy" to him for keeping after it.
It's very tempting on the way to the ramp after a tough one to just load up when it's still light enough for an easy exit. What can I say, you never know. I'll sure be chasing them closer to dark now that's for sure. The new Humminbird with NVB maps built in sure came in handy driving back to Scott's Creek ramp in the dark |

Location: KY | Nice one Sputterbug! Super picture. Did you even use a net? Not a scratch on her. That must be a deep water Fat-Bottom Girl that slid in shallow for some action.

You are an astute observer. Get out there
Here's a better picture compliments of photo pro Glenn (actually the one I meant to post in the first place).
Heck yeah, she was in the net. She stayed pretty calm and swam off quick and strong.
