Wanted to thank everyone for the outing. Slammer tackle, and expecially Tony Grant, for his hospitality. Also wanted to thank Greg M and Mikie, for letting me tag a long in there boats. And lastly I'd like to thank god.........ok, this is going to far, it was fun, but the fishing did stink.

I second Troys comments! I tell ya that Tony Grant is one top notch individual. He is personable, genuine in wanting to help everyone suceed, and went out of his way to make us all welcome! The meal saturday night was top notch!

Almost forgot to thank Bill for all the slammer baits he donated for the outing!

Great meeting all the guys....will definately consider the trip again next year!

Tom, it was a pleasure to fish with you, we need to hook up again real soon. Sorry for the outboard motor conking out, I'm getting it to the shop tomorrow. Woke up Sunday morning to find the front brake line on my truck was leaking, and my surge brake cover plate had been lifted at the ramp. I just can't stand this much excitement! m
ps - I couldn't get your jacket, he said he'd mail it to you.

not a problem Tom, enjoyed the fishing together. Wish we could have gotten into a few more before the lake really got "hairy". Good luck with your new boat, hope you get the motor figured out. See you at the Cave definately next year if not sooner.

Already have next year's event in the planning stages. It will be bigger, but still small enough so everyone can meet everyone, and trade out seats in the boats through the trip.[:sun:]

I second that, folks!!! Had one HELL [can I say that?] of a good time. Want to thank the guys who made this possible and a BIG thank you to Tony. You made me think I was at my neighbor's house where I could put up my feet and kick back without a care in the world. When do you want me to send the money for next year, wouldn't miss it for all the tea in China. Thank you Mikie for letting me fish with you and to you too Greg. Can't say when I had a better time.

Thanks to everyone,
Mauser[;)] [:sun:]

I want to give out a huge thanks to the tackle manufactures that made a very generous offer to all that attended this outing!!!! There was some awesome baits donated, and everyone was very pleased with the baits that they received. I'm really fired up with trying out the new Slammer Deep Divers, Shady Tails, and Violent Strike SpinnerBaits. You guys are top-notch and I'm definitely will send you guys some pics of the fatties that I pop this coming summer on your baits!!!

I also want to thank Jason Smith and Steve Worrall for setting up this fun-filled event, and bringing people together in this great sport. It's one of the best vacations that I've experienced, and I enjoyed myself immensely with the company, scenery and great hospitality.

Tony Grant, you're a good ole boy from the south that really knows how to make a great spread of food and treat your hosts with the utmost respect. Thanks for the accomadations and information to make this experience enjoyable.

Thanks Rik for putting up with my brother's and I bickering. You know how brothers are.he,he,he. We felt very honored to have you in our boat, and you've got to be the funniest, most optimistic person I've ever had in the boat with me. It was a truly a pleasure to have you with us. Plus, you gave me a good crash course on the different types of trees that the south has to offer. Travis and I are sorry for how many times we screwed around with your family tree.(inside joke guys...ask Sponge if you want to know the story).he,he,he. You're welcomed anytime, and we need for you to make it up here by us "Yankees" sometime. There's always an open seat for ya.

Thanks LandyR, Shep, and BradR for allowing us to tag along on the way down. We're sorry if we may have you slowed you guys up some. It was great talking to everyone that makes this such a fun site. There's no wonder why this place is such a friendly and knowledgable website. From what I experienced, there's not a bad person in the bunch. O.K. enough brown nosing. I'll see you guys around at the next outing.

catch ya later,
Krappie

Like Worrall said...

We WILL do this again and the same time frame. The Cave had not flooded since 1995 so my bet is we are going to be safe for a few years. I hope.[]

Thanks to Violent Strike, Slammer Tackle, MuskieNUT tackle and Tony Grants pro shop for all the tackle gifts everyone got. I would say everyone got a nice $60 package of baits.
