Heading up to Mille Lacs with a group of about 6 in June, we are thinking of staying around the Vineland area, does anyone have any lodging recommendations for that area? We're just looking for a cheap cabin or motel...just somewhere to sleep that's not a truck.

The casino is basically across the road from the Indian point access, which is a short ride to Vinleand Bay.... I am not sure how much a room at the casino is, but usually they are pretty nice and reasonably priced...

There is also a large hotel down the road, with a nice harbor.. It is a pretty popular place, but the name is slipping my mind right now...

Can't beat the Red Door for affordability and friendly service! It's on the other side of the universe from Vineland

I've stayed at Twin Pines in Garrison. Good food, good service and plenty of night life for entertainment.

Lots of options for lodging on Mille Lacs.

I always stay at the Red Door, no matter what part of the lake I am fishing. Garrison is a good second choice.

Eddy's resort was the resort I was thinking of.. This resort is right outside of Vineland Bay... Red Door is a good place to stay, but about a 20 or so drive to an access for Vineland Bay...

I found a place called Edgewater Resort over there too. I'll check out Eddy's as well.

McQuoid's was very, very nice last year, and even has a hot tub room. There is an access nearby that was somewhat usable last year, but pretty shallow like a lot of the other launches. It's a little ways around the lake from Vineland, but you can always trailer back over and launch from Terry's. Good fishing.

I don't think the Edgewater is in operation for lodging anymore, other than renting space for a camper.

Hunters on the East side is another good choice.
