| what would be a good reel for pounders? right now i have a pete mania reel set up on my bulldawg rod. not sure if it will be strong enough.
also, i have a feeling that Musky innovations will come out with a bull dawg reel! i mean people were asking what kind of rod they should use for the big plastics. and they came out with a bulldawg rod. bulldawg reel!!!?!!??!? maybe in 2008 or 2009. |

| I used the same Daiwa Lunas for 2 seasons of long hours chucking big baits, including Pounders .Never had a problem with any of the 8 .Clients gave them a workout as well without a glitch. Steve |

Location: Bemidji | I bought a bunch of Abu 7000i's for my clients to use and they appear to be built well. I personally used Calcutta TE's for throwing pounders without a problem. |

| 7000iHSN...built tough and the high gear ratio is great for picking up line when you're rippin' dawgs
