Have a crestliner 2000 super hawk, yamaha f115 motor, anybody have same setup? and if so what prop are you running, want to go stainless, came with 13x17 aluminum, just seems too weak, also what pitch would you use, same or different than 17 aluminum, and lastly where would you buy stainless prop, dealers around here think they are gold, not stainless, thanks, jw

Best I've used/heard for this motor is a 16 pitch Mercury Vengeance.Stainless around $350. Steve

I would maybe suggest trying a 13-1/2 x 17 pitch ballistic prop. It will potentially spin as fast or potentially FASTER than your stock aluminum (I found that on my 90 yamaha). it will definitely hook up better and the boat will respond to trim more. Plus...you probably can move the motor up a hole or two on the transom, which will give you even more RPM's. As expected, though, stay within the RPM range of the motor when loaded normally. I believe you get to go to 6000 rpm?
