| Anyonre else ever had problems with hard starting. Motor has very few hours.....could be part of the problem. Once started and ran it runs excellent. Seems like it is not getting fuel or the choke does not work properly. | |

Location: Hayward, WI | Is it a tiller or remote? The choke system can be confusing on these, be sure that you know the proper procedure to start. | |

| I have a 2000 Honda 75 on an Esox Magnum. Cold starts are always hard, make sure the gas bulb has been pumped, use the choke and keep the engine choked after it starts until it smooths out. Then bring it back to idle, starting the rest of the day shouldn't be a problem. Running every day the first start usually isn't too bad, but let it sit for a week or longer be prepared to choke and fast idle or several false starts. | |
