Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | Hey there,
I think it might be a great idea to "sticky" some of the different how-to threads to make it easy for newcomers to get started. I'd love to see Fatfingers and Tigger have their knowledge on foil finishes stickied for sure and I did some how to paint articles for Iwata Medea that could be sticked. Of course, there are countless others with amazing carving and painting skills that I'd love to see do some instructional lessons for us.
Just a suggestion. I just used some of Fatfingers tips to do a couple of foil baits that a customer wanted me to attempt. I definitely appreciated the wisdom of the guys with the talent for that method. |

| sure thing.
just give me a list of which topics you'd like to see stuck to the top of the forum.
we don't like to keep things up there permanently, but if you give a head's-up on something we can keep it there for awhile.

Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | Thanks Lambeau. I'll have to check through and find the threads. My own link to the Iwata articles is on the basement bait makers thread somewhere. If any of the guys know exactly which threads they posted specific info in could you please add it to the list here in this thread so we can sticky them also?
Thanks everyone. |

Location: Minnesota | I agree. There is a good on on through wire baits, foil baits, airbrushing, and I am sure one or two more that are dead on with repeat questions here. They all have great mini articles with pictures in them.

| FYI...i'm not going to track through the various threads to find them.
if you do the "legwork" and paste the thread links here, i'll go through and hit the sticky button.

if there are some forum threads you'd like to keep up at the top, just let me know.

Location: Muskoka Ontario,Canada | I know at least some of the guys who did those tutorials also post here. If they can copy and paste their tutuorials here folks can remain on this website to view them. I am unable to do that with mine as they were part of a business agreement between myself and Iwata-Medea. I didn't mean for this idea to become a pain for the moderators. I just thought it would be nice for newbies to locate some great information without long searches. |

Location: Medford, WI | I would be willing to do this if the original guys who wrote the tutorials wouldn't mind me copying and pasting from the other websites to here. (Snax, I see that for yours that isn't possible w/ the business end). I know Tigger was one of the guys for the foiling "how-to". I'd gladly copy and paste the tutorials and pics if the authors would allow me to...
