Subject: Minocqua Chain Tournament Will Include Big/Little Tom

The Autumn Classic Open Championship on the Minocqua Chain on September 8 & 9, will include the waters of Big and Little Tomahawk Lakes along with Minocqua and Kawaguesaga Lakes. It has come to our attention that some tournament anglers believe that the lakes that will be open for the event will be limited to Minocqua and Kawaguesaga only, but this is not the case as Big & Little Tom will be included.

The WMT use to host a one-day event that limited the chain to just Minocqua & Kawaguesga but the chain is now scheduled to host a two-day Major Open Championship and the waters have been expanded.

With that being said, most of the thorough fare between Lake Minocqua and Big Tomahawk Lake will be off limits to fish, but a team can move through the channel to get from one lake to another, and Mid Lake will be O.B. to fish or for traveling.

The Autumn Classic Open Championship is the last regular season qualifier, before the WMT's Invitational Championship, and it is shaping up to be a very popular event already. And with the superb fishing opportunities that early autumn on the Minocqua Chain affords the muskie angler, it should be a great event that is sure to deliver.

Thanks and have a great fishing season,
