Anyone have any expierence with these top water baits? walk the dog or more of a topwater ripping bait? any input would be appreciated!
Thanks!

I caught a couple fish on one last year. I would say it's a walk the dog bait. It has a little head bob to it also. You can make it "ploosh" if you pop it enough, or work it fairly quietly. It only has two hooks and is relatively light, but I didn't really have a problem hooking fish on it. Other than those that completely missed the bait, I can only think of one fish that hit that didn't get hooked up. That one was COMPLETELY my fault (forgot to tighten the drag down, and couldn't get a hookset on it - probably the best topwater strike I ever had too).

Admittedly, it is the only walk the dog musky bait I have used, so I have nothing to compare it to. Still, it worked well enough for me. One reason I ordered it was nobody seemed to be talking about it so I thought it might be something new to the fish.

It's a walk the dog. I've caught a couple very nice fish on them. They seem to have a better "ploop" sound than most WTD baits. The downside is they are harder to work in waves, even small waves, than some other WDT lures. I found myself having to pay more attention to exactly how I was working the lure than I do with others ("others" being jackpots, docs, Hi Fin skywalkers, vipers).

I like it, for the reasons above. Plus I think the eyes are kind of funny. Because they are lighter, I think it is a bit harder for fish to throw them if there is slack in the line on the strike.
