Subject: GPS receiver mounting location


Can I mount the receiver behind a tinted plexiglass windshield or should I put it in a more unobstructed location? I have heard guys say the have no problem behind a glass windshield but I am not sure if the same hold for tinted plexiglass.

I had mine mounted on the dash of my Lund. Never a problem getting and keeping locked. Go for it.

Location: Cedar, MN		I have mine below a tinted ranger windshield and its no problem. Even locks on in the garage.
