Location: Sandusky, OH | Hey all,
I have been sharpening the hooks on my batch of winter purchases, and started looking at the hook locations on my new 12" Hawg Teaser. Does anyone have problems with the rear two hooks fouling each other? It almost appears that the bait could do without one of the hooks in the back, or do you find that fish target the squirrely tail rather than the bait's body. Anyone done modifications to this bait?
Thanks

| I have taken the middle hook off and upsized the back and front hook one size..doesn't hurt the action, on the middle hook hanger in some cases if I want to have it hang a bit more I hang a small bell sinker off a small split ring...
I have left some of them as is and they don't seem to foul much....great baits... | |

Location: Sandusky, OH | Thanks, bn, I thought about dropping the middle hook and upsizing. Nice idea with the bell sinker.
