Location: Roseau		I have a 12 volt bow mount and it is wired to use 2 batteries. Do both batteries have to be the same, or can I have 2 differnt types of batteries?

Location: Minneapolis		You need to have the batteries wired in parallel (they probably are already).

Don't mix wet cell and AGM batteries. Assuming they are both the same battery technology, your discharge rate will be better if the batteries are matched, but they don't need to be.
