Location: Medford, WI | Great question; I also would like to fish in a tourney or two this summer and don't have a livewell in the boat I'd be fishing in. How much does a cooler that big run? I'm guessing you'd want to get one with an inside dimension of at least 48-50".

Location: Rhinelander | I remember in the early days guys had a sheetmetal box made and also had a wood cover made for it. Dimensions could be whatever you need. Then I assume the corners were soldered so it wouldn't leak. Old school i guess but would get the job done. I think in todays world I would put an portable aerator in it to help the fish out. |

Location: Rhinelander | Cabela's has a 47" for $114. Would this be bad luck of catching a 47 plus? I will keep searching, I know I've seen bigger ones somewhere. |
