| i need a glide bait that will run at a steady 1-2 feet down with a reef hawg typ action i have enough reef hawgs but i need more consistancy is a eddie bait a good choice what are some of you favorites

Location: S.E. Wisconsin | Hands down!!!!My Mantas!!!! Love the pause........cant wait till we find out about the baby!!! Eddies are great also but make sure to add a split ring to the front eye and bigger hooks to keep them from fouling on the bait.

| for erratic action you can't get much better than a Wabull.
work it slowly and it'll run deeper, a quick cadence will have it in the 2' range.
the new Baby Wabull is equally impressive, and easier to work quickly higher in the water column.

Location: minocqua, wi. | i agree with lambeau on the wabull .... however, i have an arsenal of the mr. automatic gliders made by musky safari tackle too. my primary choice is the mr. automatic but that's because i have some special ones with experience and a huge respect for the guy who builds them and how they are made ... i think it's the same story you would get though from Luke's quality and the action of the wabull ... both are great choices for what you are looking for. |

Location: The Sportsman, home, or out on the water | guts, when you have problems with gliders fouling on the leader, Take 2 pieces of heat shrink tubing to your leader. one on the snap, and one on the swivel, so that there is no hinge, if you will, between the leader and the snap, and between the leader and the swivel. I also do not use a split ring on the nose of my gliders. Hope that helps!

or just do a direct leader-lure connection with one split ring between them (no snap).
it cuts out the "hinge" effect of a snap without all that extra shrinking and tubing.
