Location: Lafayette, IN | Swede,
I don't read Swedish but as soon as I saw your post I thought to myself, "I wonder if that fish was caught on Vattern?" I see the Swedish spelling of that word in the text of the article. Am I correct in assuming that Vattern was the lake the angler was fishing on? If so, that's pretty exciting because my family immigrated from Sweden 5 generations ago and they were from Granna. I hear that is a beautiful lake and a beautiful area. Thanks for the picture and any clarification on the area.
Regards,
Steve |

Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Swede- Wow! Congrat's to Magnus Jonzon . A 53" (135cm), 42lb pike is really a trophy of a lifetime. The one of two words I know in Swedish stood out -> "Zalt" .
Have fun!
Al

| yes it was caught trolling in lake Vättern 200ft line out since Vättern is a clearwaterlake & it holds the worldrecord on landlocked salmon too 20,4 kg & that salmon was caught by a shorefisherman the lake is infested by craws so the commercial netting for salmon etc has decreased very much over the past years |

Location: oswego, il | Would be cool to stock some swedish pike in our lakes here. The italian pike would be cool but the pasta you would use for bait, I would eat by noon! |
