Green is now 6.5 over winter pool with an outflow of 73 cubits, meaning gates still closed, and not a bad rise for Green in comparison to what it can do.

Cave is now 7.9 over winter pool with an outflow of 115, meaning they have shut the gates down. Pretty fishable level, if they hold it there.

Buckhorn, which saw a 23 foot rise day before yesterday was up to 43.6 over winter pool with outflow of 220 cubits. Once again they have closed the gates.

What does all this mean to Joe Musky Fisherman? Beats me, but I will venture this thought, when they open the gates wide open it really sucks mud into the main body of the lake and seems to have quite a distastefull effect on the fishing. With the gates closed and minimal outflows, unless it is raining hard at the time, there will be a body of clearer water maintained which will be quite fishable, just get away from the main tributaries and down into the short run coves and you will find it.

The thing I would worry about if I was a worrier would be that the temp has pushed up into the spawning range-and the coming cold front conditions. Yeah, that's what I would worry about. [] []

But since I am not a worrier as far as musky fishing goes(I am a pessimistic optimist instead!), I would come fishing expecting an interesting set of conditions to fish under and I would bring some big white baits and some beverages.
