40 days until the S WI opener.

I am surprisingly unprepared! Baits from the shows still in boxes, hooks need to be sharpened, reels need to be respooled, got a couple that need to be fixed, much of my equipment is in a pile in the basement where it has been sitting since the end of November...

How about you? Ready to go, or not so much?

I'll miss the S WI opener because of our club's Shelbyville outing, but heading with the club to Kincaid this weekend for some early season fun. Just asked someone to check the Wingra muskies for me up by the dam. Probably won't hit S WI unitl late June

I like pork with my S.WI opener. Maybe some chicken, too. You never know.

I'm between seasons; pizza and fishing.

Priapism is out of storage, marine band radio installed, and waiting to get wet! Just need to stop and top off the gas tank. First Walleye trip this coming Sunday, but can't wait to chase Muskys. (In that movie guy voice) "Payback! this time, it's for real!"

got the boat rigging instructions laid out before another china trip .... new gels and 3-bank charger, another bigger lowrance for the front, baits ... still in the boat ... rods and reels ready to go ... will be gone from the 12th to the 3rd ... first time out for me will be the northern opener though. my start will be going out in the boat to set waypoints to get ready for the season.

Definitely ready to go. All the reels are cleaned, and have fresh line. All the baits are organized, with sharp hooks. Boat is in shape, batteries are charged.

Plan to be musky fishing Friday and Saturday, if I can avoid the storms . . .

Smoked pork and chicken.

Kevin

Big girls like pork. Chicken for the slimmer ones.
