Did anyone else get a survey about Muskie fishing in MN. from the U of M and the DNR? I got mine a couple of days ago. It stated that they were sending these questionaires to a small number of people that bought a Mn license last year. You did not have to fish for Muskies to take the survey, they wanted info from the general fishing public.

The survey was about 10 pages long and asked many different questions about muskies and fishing for muskies in MN. It asked some good questions about stocking/starting new fisheries.

Hey Joe,

I'm glad that one made it to a muskie guy.

George Selcke and I worked with the UofM marketing department to make the survey. The goal was to figure out some things about the attitudes of the fishermen in the state relating to the muskie program as well as get an estimate of how many people are fishing for muskies.

WHATEVER YOU DO MAKE SURE YOU SEND IT BACK IF YOU GET ONE! We need every single "muskie guy" to count in the survey to increase the states recognition for the number of us out there. It's our goal to show there's been an increase in muskie anglers so we can go in for more $$$ to fund the muskie program.

Great idea to make a survey to get the attitudes of the MN muskie fisherman! I never would have thought of that.

Got one too. Very interesting. I was scared to open it - thought it was going to be something about student loans! Haha.
