I have a few Jerkos that I'm planning on using more this year. Any tips on the best way to work the Jerko? What rod and leader combos do you use?

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs		Try REALLY light taps of slack line. It's a jerkbait in that it will go side to side, up and down, etc. and does catch many fish, but you really DONT need to JERK IT with the rod. Try a somewhat stiff tipped rod with a fast retrieve reel. The full sized one is pretty heavy, I'd go with whatever you have most confidence in.
